 Admit Lesson #13

Large group  starts at 7  pm and Small  groups start at 8 pm
Do you want to gain healing that the Bible promises?
Come join us  tonight as we continue with Principle 4
and 
learn why you need to ADMIT your wrongs to another person.
Principle  4: Openly examine and  confess my faults to myself, to God, and to someone I  trust.

“Happy are the  pure in heart.” (Matthew 5:8)

Step 5: We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to  another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

“Therefore  confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be  healed.” (James 5:16)
Leader’s Focus  Question: 
What is your biggest fear of sharing your inventory with another person? What positive changes have happened in your life due to sharing your inventory?

Thursday, October 4th– Buck-Out 7:30 pm   

Friday,October 5th– Arena Reserved after 6 pm                                                     

Saturday,October 6th – Arena Reserved from 8 am – 6 pm

Saturday, October 13th– Play Day 5 pm –Registration at 4 pm –See Andrew Champion with questions.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 3rd – Horse Power f
for Kid’s Benefit.  All proceeds going to The Kaufman County Children’s Advocacy Center.  Special guest speaker is Elsie Frost. Carnival, Motorcycle Run, Trail Ride, Youth Buck-Out, and live music.  Volunteers will be needed for this day.  Rafter J is partnering with Kaufman County Cowboy Church and other churches.  We are needing 5 crock-pots of Poor Man Stew (each church is providing 5 each – see Dee or Red). Also, needing donations of cases of water and soda. Please see James Burt, Terry Carter, Janie Collins, Shirley Mc, Red, or Skip, if you have questions.

Come hear about a woman’s struggle with selfishness and how God’s abundant grace,
forgiveness and mercy gave her a new more meaningful life?

“All things work together for the good of those that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

Step 12: Having had a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others and practice these principles in all our affairs.
Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore them gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. (Galatians 6:1)

Saturday, September 29th – Breakfast and Prayer 8 am, Quinlan Riding in the Arena, Church Community Sale, Men’s Ministry Meeting (more details about the Community Sale and Men’s Ministry below)

Other Information:

 Saturday, September 29th – 1st Annual Community Sale, bring your unwanted items to Rafter J for the sale.  Make sure everything is clean and has prices on the item.  WE welcome anyone wanting to volunteer to help! There will be a Bake Sale too, please see Robbyn for sign up to bring baked goods or to sign up for a shift to work the Community Sale. There will be a need for some people to volunteer Friday, September 28th to help make sure everything is ready for Saturday’s sale.  Also, the used pews we have are available to any in the congregation but we need to be rid of them by 10/01/12 see Robbyn about this as well. 
 

 

 

 

Saturday, September 29th – The New Men’s Ministry will be meeting @ 6 pm.  The men will meet the last Saturday of each month starting this month.  Please contact Steven 214-535-1020 if you have any questions.
