Scripture: James 1:1-8

1. Rejoice Instead of Complaint (vv. 2-3).

2. Stay Instead of Run (v. 4).

3. Pray for Wisdom Instead of Deliverance (vv. 5-7).

This Week:

Sunday, May 19: Sunday service starts 10 AM. Elder meeting immediately after service. We will be having our church service at Kauf-Van Baptist Association at 9433 Co Rd 136, Terrell, TX 75160.

Events:

Friday, June 7: Outreach at Serenity Corner. We will be making meals to serve the homeless (enough to feed 30). This will reoccur every 1st Friday of the Month. Please see Pastor Bob for more specific details. SERENITY CORNER is located at 212 S. Rockwall Street in Terrell.

Friday, June 14: Men’s ministry meeting at 6:00 PM. Meal and message included. At our new property located at 11273 State Hwy 34, Quinlan, TX 75474.

Sunday, June 16: Elder open meeting starts at 6 PM & closed meeting starts at 7 PM.
