PLEASE Support the movie “Home Run” – It’s a new Christian movie (a love story) out in theaters now. This movie has been extended another week at AMC 30 Mesquite. Tidbit – This little film was #3, behind only Oblivion and 42, for average number of people at the theater this past weekend. In spite of being on 5-10x fewer theaters than the top 11 movies, still managed a solid #12 out of 47 movies in theaters this past weekend!  We need your help this weekend to drive numbers so this film will run longer and be available in more theaters.

Friday, May 3 – A group from Rafter J Cowboy Church will be going to Rodeo City Music Hall, in Mesquite, on Friday evening at 7:30, for a gospel concert. Tickets are $5 at the door. Everyone is welcome to go. If interested please contact Shirley McFarlin, so she can reserve seats and we can sit together as a group.

Saturday, May 4RAFTER J CAR WASH at Doc’s clinic from 10 am – 4 pm to raise money for our new Church WORSHIP & KICKIN’ UP DUST BAND stage. The youth group will be volunteering and any other volunteers are certainly appreciated. We also need old or unwanted rags, towels, sponges, and soap products. DIRTY VEHICLES WELCOME!

Sunday, May 5 – Deadline – Just a reminder, a group will be going to The Promise in Glen Rose on September 14th. Tickets are $32.00 ea. We are inviting everyone to attend. If you are paying by check, make payable to Cindy Hill Brown.
