Mindee’s sister’s son is in Afghanistan serving along with many men and women who sacrifice their lives for us every day, her son has asked if anyone would like to send the shop various goodies. A list of items is on the front table near the entrance. All items will be collected on Sunday, March 30, 2014. Mindee will take care of mailing the packages. IT’S TESTIMONY NIGHT!!!
We invite you to join us tonight to hear a testimony being shared by someone who struggles with control, perfectionism, shame, and co-dependency.
Having a desire to excessively fix and take care of others and their problems while neglecting her own needs and God’s will.
“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:18)
Principle 8. Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and by my words.
“Blessed are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires.” (Matthew 5:10)
Step 12. Having had a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others and practice these principles in all our affairs.
“Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently.
But watch yourself or you also may be tempted.” (Galatians 6:1)
