Rafter J Cowboy Church Work Day – Saturday, May 3, 2014

church work day

ATTENTION Rafter J family, we would like to invite you out for a clean up day at the church on May 3rd. We plan to start at 8AM, coffee and donuts will be ready when you show up. If the time is too early show up when you can, there is plenty of work and people coming and going throughout the day.

Please bring shovels, chains saws, weed eaters, paint brushes, etc. We have an extensive list of projects and hopeful to accomplish a lot with a bunch of volunteers.

If you are a great cook we especially want you to come and bring desserts, cookies or your favorite recipe to keep the volunteers charged up and not running low on energy. We will provide pizza for all and have lunch together around noon.

If you do not know many folks yet at Rafter J this is a great way to get to know your extended family and serve Christ together.

Looking forward to a very productive day together, see you Saturday morning!

CR Female Testimony
CELEBRATE RECOVERY
IT’S TESTIMONY NIGHT!!!

Hot dogs, chips, dessert, and sodas served at 6:15 pm

Come join us tonight to hear a testimony being shared by someone who struggled with mental and sexual abuse. Her current struggle is with food addiction.  We invite you to come tonight to hear her share how God has brought her full circle and the AMAZING MIRACLE in her life.

For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord”, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
  (Jeremiah 29:11)

Principle 8.  Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and by my words.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires.” (Matthew 5:10)

Step 12.  Having had a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others and practice these principles in all our affairs.

“Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently.  But watch yourself or you also may be tempted.” (Galatians 6:2)
