CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Large group starts at 7 pm (age requirements 15 years and older)
Small groups start at 8 pm (age requirements 18 years and older)

Join Us, IT’S TESTIMONY NIGHT!!!

We invite you to join us tonight to hear a testimony being shared by someone who celebrates recovery over drugs and alcohol but currently struggles with pride and fear.
COME, hear a man share how he once hated God and rejected him. COME, hear a story of God’s love and grace.

“See what great love the Father has lavished upon us, that we may be called the children of God, and that is what we are!” (1 John 3:1)

Principle 8.  Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and by my words.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires.” (Matthew 5:10)

Step 12.  Having had a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others and practice these principles in all our affairs.

“Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently.
But watch yourself or you also may be tempted.”

Sanity lesson

Large  group starts at 7 pm (age requirement 15 years and older)
Small groups start at 8 pm (age requirements 18 years and older)

Principle  2:  Earnestly believe that God exists, that I matter to Him, and that He has the power to help me recover.

”Blessed are those who mourn, for they  shall be comforted”  (Matthew 5:4)

Step 2:  We came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to  sanity.

”For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose”  (Philippians 2:13)

Insanity has been described as “doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result each time.”

Sanity has been defined as “wholeness of mind; making decisions based on the truth.”

The following are some of the gifts we will receive when we believe that Jesus has the power and will restore us to SANITY!
Strength
Acceptance
New life
Integrity
Trust
Your Higher Power, Jesus Christloves you just the way you are!

Small groups Focus Question:
What do you keep repeating over and over again expecting a different result?  What are you looking for?
