Celebrate Recovery @ Rafter J Cowboy Church – Wednesday, March 2, 2016 – Testimony Night

Dinner (Healthy Spaghetti) @ 6:15 pm 

Large group starts at 7 pm (age requirements 15 years and older)
Small groups start at 8 pm (age requirements 18 years and older)

Join Us, IT’S TESTIMONY NIGHT!!! ​

We invite you to come join us to hear a testimony being shared by a female who struggles with mental health symptoms, rage sexual abuse, trusting others, and an eating disorder and celebrates her recovery over drugs.

Principle 8. Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and by my words.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires.” (Matthew 5:10)

Step 12. Having had a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others and practice these principles in all our affairs.

“Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. 
But watch yourself or you also may be tempted.”
(Galatians 6:1)

Sunday, February 28: 8:30-9:30 am Co-ed Adult Sunday School, 9:45 am Nursery Opens, 10:00 am Worship Service and Sermon,  Youth Class and Children’s Church after Music Worship, Annual Chili Cook-Off – Entries must be placed beside a number at judges table by 10 am, lunch after service, Open Arena 1 – 5 pm.

Monday, February 29: Open Arena 7 – 9 pm by appointment only, contact Terry Perry 903-879-1597 or Adam Lewis 972-333-4587.  Non-members allowed with a donation. 

Wednesday, March 2:  Celebrate Recovery – Meal at 6:15 pm – Testimony Night 7 pm 

Thursday, February 3: Thursday Night Service 7 pm 

Saturday, March 5th:  Work Day 8 am (planting trees – see Grace with questions).      Movie night @  5:30 pm.  Watching “Just Let Go”

Saturday, March 12: Arena Event 

Friday, March 18: Sorting 7 pm – $15 Registration 

Sunday, March 27: Sunrise Easter Service and Breakfast afterwards.  Easter Egg Hunt after service.

8th Annual Chili-Cook

Sunday, February 28, 2016
Entries must be placed beside a number on the judges table by 10 am
$5 Entry Fee
 
 
We all can enjoy a bowl of chili or chili dog after the judging.
 
Please bring cheese, crackers, Fritos, onions, sour cream, or other fixins. 
 
Church will provide hot dogs and buns. 

Monetary donation for prizes would be appreciated.
