cr everyone has them

We Welcome All To Celebrate Recovery
IT ‘s TESTIMONY NIGHT!!!
We invite you to come join us tonight to hear a testimony being shared by a man who struggled with alcohol, drugs and a tendency to do the wrong thing.
On his Road to Recovery, how many miracles has he witnessed?  (Hint: relationship/restoration)
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
Principle 8.  Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and by my words.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires.” (Matthew 5:10)

Step 12.  Having had a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others and practice these principles in all our affairs.
“Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently.
But watch yourself or you also may be tempted.” (Galatians 6:1)

Celebrate the New Year with Celebrate Recovery @ Rafter J Cowboy Church – Wednesday, January 1, 2014

CR_19-Crossroads

Large group starts at 7 pm (age requirements 15 years and older)

Small groups start at 8 pm (age requirements 18 years and older)

Principle 7: Reserve a daily time with God for self-examination, Bible reading, and prayer in order to know God and His will for my life and to gain the power to follow His will.

Step 10:  We continued to take personal inventory, and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.

“So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!” (1 Corinthians 10:12)

Think About It:  Jesus said, “If you live as I tell you to…., you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32)  By working the principles and following Christ’s directions, the foundation of your live has been rebuilt.  You will undoubtedly see major changes in your life, if you haven’t already!
Now you are at the CROSSROADS of your recovery.

Small Group Focus Question:

What amends did/are you putting off that would be better done promptly? What time of the day are you scheduling for your quiet time with God?

Take time to do a daily inventory

Evaluate the good and the bad part of our day

Need to admit our wrongs promptly
