TESTIMONY 08-06 1

 

Large group starts at 7 pm (age requirements 15 years and older)
Small groups start at 8 pm (age requirements 18 years and older)
 
Join Us, IT’S TESTIMONY NIGHT!!!  ​ 
 
Come join us tonight to hear a testimony being shared by a man who is overcoming struggles with porn and sex addiction. 
Come hear him share about his journey from darkness to LIGHT.
 
“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.  
The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective” James 5:16
 
  
Principle 8.  Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and by my words.  
 
“Blessed are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires.” (Matthew 5:10) 
 
Step 12.  Having had a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others and practice these principles in all our affairs. 
 
 “Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently.  
But watch yourself or you also may be tempted.”

Sunday, August 3: 8:30-9:30 am Co-ed Adult Sunday School, 9:45 am Nursery Opens, 10:00 am Worship Service, Youth Class and Children’s Church after Music Worship. * Parents with kids Pre K-2nd grade, Please make sure you sign your kids both in and out of their classroom.

Open Arena 1:00-5:00 pm

Bible Study 6:00-7:00 pm “The Road Back Home” Prayer Service immediately after. 

Wednesday, August 6: 7:00 pm Celebrate Recovery- Testimony 

Thursday, August 7: 7:30 pm Buck-Out  

Saturday, August 9:  Herd Up Ranch Gathering for Christ Held @ Rafter J Cowboy Church.  Books open @ 9, event starts @ 10 am

Saturday, August 16:  Youth Outing to Tyler State Park for Mrs. Grace’s class.  Chaperones needed.  Please see Grace for more info.

We open in prayer, ride Junior Bulls,then Steer Riding for Teens and lastly Bull Riding for Adults.

We do have an intermission which includes free hot dogs and tea.

There is a testimony or devotional and an invitational.

Then we close in prayer.

Principle 4. Openly examine and confess my faults to myself, to God, and someone I trust.  
 
“Blessed are the pure in heart.” (Matthew 5:8)
 
 
Step 4.  We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
 
“Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord.” 
 
We’ll help you understand more about a Sponsor. 
We’ll provide the answers to the following:
What is a sponsor?
 Why do you need a sponsor? 
What are the qualities of a sponsor? 
How do I find a sponsor?   
 
Set a Good Example
Pray
Oneness with Christ
Never Condemns
Share Your Personal Experience with
Open and honest Communication
Responsibility
 
Focus Question:  What is keeping you from finding a SPONSOR?  
Why is it important for you to have a sponsor?
