Title: ” Worry”
Scriptures: Matthew 6:25-34
1. Worry is a Detriment to Our Health (v. 25).
2. Worry is Distrust in God’s Ability to Care (vv. 26-31).
3. Worry is a Distortion of Reality (v. 27).
4. Worry is a Detraction of Our Testimony (v. 32).
5. Worry is a Distraction from Our Main Purpose (v. 33).
6. Worry is a Dissipation of Today’s Strength (v. 34).

This Week:

Sunday July 16: Sunday Morning Worship, Prayer, & Sermon.  Children and Youth are dismissed for Sunday School classes after worship and opening prayer.  Elder open meeting starts at 6 PM & closed meeting starts at 7 PM. 

Events:

Sunday, July 30:  5^th Sunday Pot-Luck lunch after church service.  We need side dishes, desserts, and bread.  Church will provide the main entrée and tea.

Friday, August 4:  Outreach at Serenity Corner.  We will be making meals to serve the homeless (enough to feed 30).  This will reoccur every 1^st Friday of the Month.  Please see Pastor Bob for more specific details. SERENITY CORNER is located at 212 S. Rockwall Street in Terrell.

Friday, August 11:  Men’s ministry meeting at 6:30 PM.  Meal and message included.

Sunday, August 20: Elder open meeting starts at 6 PM & closed meeting starts at 7 PM.
