moral

Large group starts 7 pm (age requirement 15 years and older)
Small groups starts at 8 pm (age requirements 18 years and older)

Principle 4. Openly examine and confess my faults to myself, to God, and someone I trust.”Blessed are the pure in heaart.” (Matthew 5:8)

Step 4. We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord.” (Lamentations 3:40)

In this principle, you need to list (inventory) all the significant events – good and bad – in your life.
You need to be as honest as you can be to allow God to show you your part and how that affected you and others.
The acrostic for MORAL shows you how to begin.

Focus Question for Small Groups:

What are your fears about starting your inventory?

What were the benefits of completing your personal inventory?

Principle 4 Prayer:

Dear God, You know my past, all the good and the bad things that I’ve done.  In this step, I ask that You give me the strength and the courage to list those things so that I can “come clean” and face them and the the truth.  Please help me reach out to others You have placed along my “road to recovery.”  Thank you for providing them to help me keep balanced as I do my inventory. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Large group starts at 7 pm (age requirements 15 years and older)

Small groups start at 8 pm (age requirements 18 years and older)

It’s Testimony Night!!!

We invite you to come hear someone share about his struggles with alcoholism, un-forgiveness, anger issues, grief and pride.
Come hear him share about God’s Grace and Love!

“Therefore, if anyone is in CHRIST, he is a new creation: the old is gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Principle 8.  Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by  my example and by my words.

“Blessed are those who  are persecuted because they do what God requires” (Matthew  5:10)

Step  12.  Having had  a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this  message to others and to practice these principles in all  our affairs.

“Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself or you also may be  tempted.”  (Galatians 6:1)
