It’s Testimony Night!

We invite you to come hear someone share about his struggles with depression, fear, and anger.
Come tonight to hear him share about God’s Grace in his life.

“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom” (Proverbs 11:2)

Principle 8.  Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and by my words.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires.” (Matthew 5:10)

Step 12.  Having had a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others and practice these principles in all our affairs.

“Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently.  But watch yourself or you also may be tempted.” (Galatians 6:1)

13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.  17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. (Colossians 1:13-18)

“Blessed are the pure in heart.” (Matthew 5:8)

“Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord.” (Lamentations 3:40)

The following list gives the second half of the list of our shortcomings (sins) that can prevent God from working effectively in our lives.  Reading through it and searching your heart will help you get started on your inventory!
