Join Us Tonight For A Recovery Check-Up.

 
Have you ever had periods of time when you felt less than peaceful-less than a spiritual giant?
 
Have you had periods of time when you felt down?  
 
Have you fell far from the joy that Christ intended for you?
 
Do you have a day or weeks when you feel like you are just treading water-just barely keeping your head above water?
 
You may be going through a recovery drought right now. 
You may feel dry, empty-feeling like you have nothing more to give.  
You are supposed to be the strong one, right?
You have worked through the 12 Steps, what’s wrong?
 
Tonight, we look at The “Big 3”:
1.  Failures in your past
2. Denial of the present
3. Fear of the future 
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run the race marked out for us. (Hebrews 12:1)

Sunday, April 6: 8:30-9:30 am Co-ed Adult Sunday School,  9:45am Nursery Opens, 10:00 am Worship Service, Youth Class and Children’s Church after Music Worship. * Parents with kids Pre K-2nd grade, Please make sure you sign your kids both in and out in their classroom.  Communion after service.

  • Open Arena 1:00-5:00 pm

IT’S TESTIMONY NIGHT!!!  

 
 
We invite you to come join us tonight to hear a testimony of someone who is celebrating her recovery from abandonment, codependency, physical abuse, divorce, alcohol and drug addiction.  Her current struggles are pride, anger, low self esteem and food issues. Come hear her share about her amazing journey and where she has been led.

 

 
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation” (Mark 16:15)
 
 
Principle 8.  Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and by my words.  
 
“Blessed are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires.” (Matthew 5:10) 
 
Step 12.  Having had a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others and practice these principles in all our affairs. 
 
“Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently.  But watch yourself or you also may be tempted.” (Galatians 6:2)
