Scripture: 2 Peter 1:20-21, 3:15-16, Ephesians 1:17, John 16:6-13, 1 Corinthians 2:10-16, Ephesians 4:11-16 and Hebrews 10:24-25

1.The Bible

A. It Provides God’s Point of View (vv. 2 Peter 1:20-21).

B. It Contains Real Letters to Real People.

C. Worry About Clear Stuff Not Obscure Stuff (vv. 2 Peter 3:15-16).
2. The Holy Spirit

A. He Provides Spiritual Insight and Understanding (v. Ephesians 1:17).

B. He Changes Us from The Inside Out (vv. John 16:6-13).

C. He Guides Us Through Our Thought Process (vv. 1 Corinthians 2:10-16).
3. Wise Counsel.

A. Together We Can Decipher Things We’d Otherwise Miss (vv. Ephesians 4:11-16).

B. Isolation Is a Sign of Spiritual Arrogance (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Sunday, February 9: 9 AM Adult Co-Ed Bible Study “Jesus” by Max Lucado, 10 AM Worship Service, Prayer Requests, Nursery and Children’s Church dismissed by pastor after morning prayer, and sermon.

Wednesday, February 12: Celebrate Recovery 7 PM – Crossroads Lesson #19- Meal served 6:15– 6:45 PM.

Thursday, February 13: Thursday Night 7 PM Bible Study on the book of Daniel.

Sunday, February 16: New Member meeting with pastor after church service. Elder open meeting at 6 PM and closed meeting at 7 PM.

Friday, February 21: Men’s Ministry Meeting with meal 6:30 PM.

Sunday, February 23: New Member introduction.

Sunday, March 29: Chili Cook-Off and Dessert Bake-Off. Also, 5th Sunday Worship and lunch after service. We will enjoy all the wonder chili entries and the church will provide hot dogs, but we will need you to bring fixings (cheese, onion, sour cream, crackers or Fritos). More details coming soon regarding contest.
